Daisy Award Nomination
Amanda Farmer was nominated by a family member of a patient she cared for and another from a patient. The care she provides is amazing and the committee she has to her patients and family members is like no other. Here is what her patients and family members wrote:

My daughter was admitted having an emergency surgery and I was 6 hours away in Virginia Beach. As I was driving here, I spoke with Amanda numerous times. She was very patient with me while responding to my concerns. I felt that my daughter was well taken care of and can’t express my gratitude for the kindness that she showed to both of us. Thank you so very much.

Amanda was the kindest, most understanding nurse I have ever encountered. She never got annoyed with me or frustrated and it made me so much more comfortable.
