Collaboration for the Triple Crown
CONGRATULATIONS to the Carilion Clinic participants in the 2019 Virginia’s Blue Ridge Triple Crown challenge. This exciting series shows who the most dedicated walkers / joggers / runners are by rewarding those that finish the area's three biggest local marathon/half marathons within a year. These medal winners completed the following:
- Blue Ridge Half Marathon (or full) on April 13, 2019
- Salem Half Marathon on October 12, 2019
- Star City Half Marathon on November 23, 2019
The Carilion Clinic Cardiovascular Institute Team “CVI WalkJogRun” included team members from both the Roanoke and New River Valley campuses, and from Jefferson Surgical Center and Anesthesia Consultants of Virginia, spotlighting our newest value: Collaboration!
There were at least 11 other Carilion Clinic employees completing in the challenge with a strong showing from CASB.
Collaboration was also key in pulling each other through this challenge!
