Alexis Clinical Transport

On Friday October 11, 2019 Alexis ( Clinical Transport) was called to 10W to pick up a patient for discharge. Alexis was very sweet and caring and explain everything to our patient from the moment she came through the door. When we got downstairs our patient seen a lady with a get well balloon and immediately wanted one herself. And instantly Alexis went and got her a frog balloon. Our patient had the biggest smile on her face and you could tell that Alexis just made her day very happy. As soon as her family pulled up she was showing her balloon to everyone, and they was also thankful. So I just wanted to let Alexis know she did a awesome job, and we are blessed at Carilion to have people with such loving hearts.
