Amazing Teamwork in the ED!!!

Friday the 13th was a little short staffed in the Emergency Department.

I had a total care patient requiring a lot of work and I was drowning! I needed help cleaning up this patient, however, with this particular patient it wasn't going to be an easy task and impossible for one person.

Hannah Durham, RN and Kishore Nagaraja, MD (an off-service Psychiatry resident doing his ER rotation) helped me for over 30 minutes clean my patient. They were extremely patient and kind to the patient, gowned, sweaty, and appropriately frustrated as we all were. We even had a few laughs, patient included.

One major feature in this is that they both offered without being asked (just hearing me fret) and it wasn't even Dr. Nagaraja's patient! Go team!
