Outstanding compassion for a patient

I wanted to give a special shout out and thank you to the staff of 9M PCU as well as Graham Daniel's and Amanda with CPTS transport. A patient was being discharged who was very anxious and began escalating at the thought of leaving. The staff of 9M PCU rallied together and were able to de-escalate the patient and avoid what could have quickly turned into a traumatic situation for the patient. Graham and Amanda were so patient, recognized the patient's triggers and were able to calm the patient and make the patient feel comfortable enough to ride with them to his new home. Their (CPTS's) knowledge and compassion for this patient's disorder exceeded all expectations. The staff of 9M advocated for their patient and always kept his best interest at heart.
