Going Above and Beyond in the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic
Kimberly Johnson, Administrative Assistant in the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic, went above and beyond to help a stranger in need. She was doing her usual daily duties when a distraught gentleman came into the office asking for assistance. He handed her a piece of paper with an explanation of the assistance that he needed - rescheduling an appointment/medical test (as he spoke very little English). Kimberly went out of her way to help him (even though he was not a patient in the clinic). She faxed paper work for him and called the medical office to reschedule his appointment. This small act of kindness helped relieve the anxiety of an individual that had no where else to turn. However, those of us that work with Kimberly are not surprised by her action - as she does random acts of kindness often.
