Hearts of Gold at OB GYN Jefferson

Compassion with a capital C:  Ryan Outten-Redd, Jaymi Prosser, and Brittany Tolley are nurses with hearts of gold, particularly when it comes to caring for the elderly.  An elderly patient, after traveling hours on a stretcher by ambulance, arrived prior to office opening.  Ryan clocked in early to expedite patient preparation for exam, including providing patient hygiene that had been neglected due to early travel start time.  When determined patient in need of imaging, Brittany arranged transportation to take patient to same day imaging to prevent patient from having another lengthy trip to Roanoke.  Going on 9am and still in need of scan, patient had blood sugar drop, as had not had breakfast prior to travel.  After taking patient's preferred breakfast order, Jaymi went to CRCH cafe' and purchased patient's breakfast.  Their commitment in providing extraordinary, compassionate care exemplifies Carilion's Values!  Thank you each for your service excellence!!
