Giving Thanks for Michele and David

A patient being discharged made a comment that she was not looking forward to Thanksgiving coming up because she would be all alone back at the nursing home. Michele Harvey and David Makin from the CGCH Rehab Department heard this and decided to make sure this patient had a Happy Thanksgiving. They took the time to go to the nursing home that the patient lived at to have Thanksgiving Dinner with her.  Going out of their way to care for the emotional needs of this patient is just one of the many reasons that David and Michele are so special. We are so fortunate to have these folks in our hospital and our community.
