Carilion Heart Failure Clinic Heart Healthy Cooking Demonstartion

The Carilion Heart Failure Clinic kicked off its first Support Group meeting on Thursday, February 21.  Dietitian intern, Kelly Drummond, volunteered her knowledge and time to show attendees how easy it is to prepare a tasty, but heart healthy, dinner. 

Attendees enjoyed themselves and provided very positive feedback.

Support group meetings will be held every 2 months - with various topics related to heart failure being discussed.  The next one is scheduled for Thursday, April 25.  It will be held in the outpatient Cardiac Rehab clinic on the CRMH campus.
