WOW, Great Initiative

She Deserves a WOW! Today 12/31/18 at around 1740 Lisa Hall from environmental services came to clean bay 3 in the Vascular PACU. She did a fantastic job and worked around the recovery room patients to ensure there privacy. She helped the curtain change guy with changing curtains and even stated "I don't mind helping you do this". She then over heard us talking on the phone with our on call person about a dirt bed that was left to be cleaned. If this room was able to be cleaned we would not need our on call staff to come in. Lisa over heard this and when she finished asked what room number was that again? We advised 735B. She stated I will talk with my manager and try to get right on that. At 1840 the room was put on as a clean next said it had been dirty the whole time. At 1850 the room came up clean meaning Lisa had worked it out with her manager and she cleaned that room before she was getting off. She was so polite and efficient. We just felt she deserved some recognition as she was truly putting the patient and there family first! Thank you Lisa for your dedication to our patients! We in the Vascular PACU appreciate all you do and thank you for helping our patients!
