Response to Student in Need

Myrnouse Gabriel a Professor in the Master’s Occupational Therapy Graduate Program at Jefferson College received a phone call in the beginning of November regarding one of her students.  Ms. Gabriel was informed that one of her students was in the emergency room at the hospital.  The student was admitted into the hospital and required emergency surgery.  Ms. Gabriel immediately rushed to the hospital and stayed with the student for many hours until her parents arrived.  The student and parents were grateful for Ms. Gabriel being there for the student.  Myrnouse Gabriel demonstrates dedication, compassion and real concern not only for this student but for all of her students.
