Kris Forren, Art Therapist for psychiatric/mental health,  donated his time and expertise to the Therapeutic Riding Association of Virginia's Educational Day, Sunday, August 8, 2026. This event was held at Brook Hill Farm in Forest, Virginia, for an audience of Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors from the state of Virginia. The theme of the workshop was "Trauma". The agenda was filled with speakers with expertise in this field. Kris generously donated his expertise to this audience for use in their programs. His talk was informational and  interactive with the participants creating their art and exploring their relationship with it. Kris received superlative reviews and the audience wants him to return for more. Thank you, Kris, for being generous to this group of people who work with students participating in adaptive equine-assisted learning. Students also include adults and children who are ability-divergent and veterans.
