Going Above and Beyond with Compassion

I would like to recognize Anne Cattigan, Director of the Infusion Center, for the extraordinary compassion and responsiveness she demonstrated in helping one of our colleagues.

When I reached out to Anne seeking assistance in arranging an IV fluid bolus for a colleague undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer, she responded immediately. She guided me through placing the order, coordinated for the infusion to be scheduled the very next day, and thoughtfully arranged for our colleague to receive treatment in a private suite within the infusion center.

Anne's actions went far beyond simply coordinating care. She anticipated our colleague's needs, removed barriers, and created a space that honored both comfort and dignity during an incredibly difficult time. Her kindness, efficiency, and patient-centered approach made a meaningful difference—not only for our colleague, but for everyone involved.
