I want to take a moment to sincerely thank our Human Resources and Technology Services Group teams for the care, collaboration, and dedication they bring to supporting new hires during System Orientation.

Did you know?

HR’s E&OD Educators help new hires access key Carilion systems—such as Active Directory, Imprivata, and Workday—so they feel prepared and confident from day one. When challenges arise, they partner closely with HRIS and TSG teams to quickly resolve issues and ensure seamless access to Workday during orientation.

Since the implementation of Workday, these teams have supported onboarding at scale—helping both new employees and contingent workers navigate questions and adapt to new systems and technology. HR’s E&OD teams also conduct regular rounding and follow-ups, reinforcing confidence and comfort with Workday beyond the first day.
