❄️Same Day Surgery Team Going Above & Beyond❄️

A huge shout‑out to Pam Williams, Abby Williams, and Melissa Phipps from Same Day Surgery for their extraordinary dedication this weekend! 

With the incoming storm, these three made the decision to stay in a local hotel to ensure they could safely make it into work on Monday. Their commitment alone deserves recognition — but the story gets even better. 

On Saturday, one of our surgical patients called to confirm he would still be coming for his procedure on Monday. He shared that he was staying in a local hotel to make sure he didn’t miss his surgery. By coincidence, he ended up in the same hotel as Pam, Abby, and Melissa. 

This patient, an elderly gentleman with significant mobility challenges, had driven himself there before the storm hit. Pam and Abby made plans to meet him in the hotel lobby this morning and personally drove him to the hospital, ensuring he arrived safely and on time. Melissa, who left the hotel ahead of them, was waiting at the door with a wheelchair. 

Their compassion, teamwork, and commitment to patient care truly embody what it means to go above and beyond.
