Quick Response

I would like to recognize Ross Beckner, Brian West, and Meredith Lewis from the 9CST ICU for their exceptional teamwork and rapid response during a critical emergency.

I had a patient who suddenly had an emergency. I was in the annex next to the ICU and called out for help. Ross and Brian were the first on scene and immediately assisted me in stabilizing the patient, including helping move them safely from the floor to the bed. Meredith was instrumental in coordinating support, running to gather the necessary people and supplies without hesitation.

All three jumped in seamlessly: they placed IVs, hung drips, and provided calm, skilled assistance throughout the event. This was not their unit and not their patient, yet that did not stop them from dropping everything to help in a moment of need. Their quick response and willingness to step in made a tremendous difference, and I honestly don’t know how I would have managed without them.

I am incredibly grateful for their support and cannot thank them enough for their professionalism, teamwork, and compassion.
