Pam Flinchum went above & beyond!

On a particularly cold day, Pam Flinchum noticed that a patient was wearing only a thin jacket. Without hesitation or expectation of recognition, she went out of her way to purchase a warm sweater for the patient at the gift shop.

She took the time to locate the patient and personally deliver the sweater to the infusion center where the patient was receiving treatment. This thoughtful act was not part of her assigned duties, yet she made it a priority because she genuinely cared about the patient’s comfort and well-being.

Her awareness, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond exemplify the values of the nursing profession.
