Carilion's Diabetes Management & Prevention Team helps out at Feeding Southwest Virginia

The Diabetes Management & Prevention Team spent an afternoon together at Feeding Southwest Virginia filling bags with fresh produce and sorting food donations. This is our 2nd annual holiday volunteer event and we plan to continue this new tradition in the years to come. While saddened to hear that the local food insecurity statistics are more grim than last year, we're grateful to be able to contribute to FSWVA's noble work feeding our neighbors.
