Workplace Safety

Chief Ed Watkins and Philip Prescott, Sr Director of Environment of Care and Safety, provided a presentation at the VHHA Healthcare Safety and Security Forum on Tuesday, September 23rd. Their presentation included information on our Workplace Safety Initiatives that were recently put in place to include our Weapons Detection Screening, Visitor Management and other work. 

The audience included colleagues from across the state and many lessons were shared and learned. 

Their message was clear, "Safety is a shared responsibility".
