National Cleft and Craniofacial Awareness and Prevention Month

July is National Cleft and Craniofacial Awareness and Prevention month. To celebrate our wonderful patients, we invited them and their family members for an evening of fun, to watch the Salem Red Sox take on the Charleston RiverDogs.

Many families joined our team for food, laughs, goodies and a surprise visit from Mugsy!

Carilion Clinic’s Cleft and Craniofacial Center includes a team of pediatric specialists from many different disciplines who treat children with congenital defect conditions and other complex medical needs. Most of this time is spent in a clinical setting, so being able to get out on a nice summer night and enjoy each other’s company was an exciting time for all!
