Nexus Training

Lost your training curriculum?

Because some of the Nexus curricula contain optional items, it is possible for a curriculum to move to a Completed Status before you intend for it to. Even though it isn't visible on your active training transcript, it's still there. You need to change the filter to Completed to view it. Need more help? This one-page job aid shows you how to do it.

Do you need help getting registered for training?

You can register for training using the methods below.

  1. Use Shankar, the Virtual Sherpa. Shankar is a chatbot designed to ask you a series of questions. Based on your replies, he will email you a personalized learning plan. To access Shankar:
    1. Open Teams.
    2. Click the Apps button with the plus sign on the left menu.
    3. Choose Built for Your Org.
    4. Click Add in the box for Shankar.
    5. Click Add on the description page.
    6. Open.
    7. Type Hi to get started.
    8. Answer Shankar's questions, then check your email. You customized learning plan is sent from Workday_VA_SVC. It contains your recommendations from Shankar and links to register in Cornerstone.
    9. Please take a moment to return to the chat and rate our Virtual Sherpa's performance.
    10. If you want to change your answers, go back to the Teams chat and type Hi again.
  2. Use the training pages in the Nexus Go-live Guide for Employees or the Nexus Go-live Guide for Leaders. Go to Cornerstone and search for the training titles.
  3. Leaders can assign training to their teams. Use the job aid if it's been a while since you've assigned training in Cornerstone.
