In Loving Memory of Julie Wright

On Friday, May 9th, the Oncology and Palliative team at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital lost one of their beloved team members, Julie Wright, the unit director of 10 South.

With 19 years of service at Carilion, the bar Julie set in leadership and patient care is remarkable. She is remembered for her bright smile, caring heart, and her inspiring ways. She was a fierce advocate for patients and staff alike and put a smile on every face she came in contact with. We remember her unique laughter, encouraging words, and much more. Our hearts are heavy as she is terribly missed. Though she may be physically gone, her light still shines bright as we strive to keep her legacy alive and look fondly on her memory. #TeamJulie #FightLikeWright
