Infection Prevention & Control collaborates with the Laboratory to celebrate Medical Laboratory Professionals Week 2025

Happy Medical Laboratory Professionals Week 2025! This year’s theme is inspired by Scooby-Doo's Mystery Machine, highlights the lab's role in solving medical mysteries. To go along with this year’s theme, CFMH Infection Preventionist, Angela Moore, caught all the lab staff "Red-Handed" while educating on proper hand hygiene techniques and 5 Moments of hand hygiene. Education on PPE and isolation practices was also provided. 

A huge shoutout to Elizabeth Boyd and Lorissa Skelton, from Quest diagnostics, for helping coordinate the event, and for their hard work done each and every day by their team providing the highest quality and safest care for our patients and community.
