Shoutout to Amalia Racanelli (Amy), RN, for going above and beyond! 🌟

Amy truly exemplified compassion and leadership when she stepped up to help a patient in a difficult situation. The patient had an early morning discharge and was scheduled to take a cab to the bus station to catch a Greyhound to North Carolina at 1:30 a.m. Unfortunately, the patient missed her bus and was left stranded at the station.

Without hesitation, Amy took charge. She reached out to the Community Service Board, contacted the cab company, and even got in touch with a family member to ensure the patient had a safe alternative. Thanks to Amy’s dedication and persistence, new transportation was arranged to get the patient to her destination in NC safely.

Amy, thank you for your incredible initiative, compassion, and leadership. You made a real difference!!
