Meet Moxi: A New Kind of Clinical Support Has Arrived at CNRV
Get ready for a game-changer in clinical care! Starting April 1, Moxi—the friendly, high-tech robot assistant—is joining our team at CNRV. Designed to handle essential but time-consuming tasks, Moxi frees up our care teams to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional patient care.
What Can Moxi Robots Do?
The Moxi robots are assisting clinical care teams by handling various non-patient-facing tasks, such as:
- Delivering lab samples: Moxi robots seamlessly transport lab samples, reducing delays and freeing up staff.
- Delivering patient supplies: Quickly delivering essential patient items and belongings left at reception.
- Retrieving Central Supply items: Fetching items not typically stocked directly on care units, saving valuable staff time.
- Distributing PPE and lightweight equipment: Ensuring staff have the necessary protective gear and equipment exactly when needed.
By managing these critical support tasks, Moxi robots help clinical teams concentrate more effectively on providing direct patient care. The support that Moxi is now providing at CNRV was enjoyed by the staff at CGCH for the past year, which was covered in an article last year.

When a Moxi robot is not busy with deliveries, you are welcome to capture the fun by snapping a quick photo with Moxi. As always, please remember to adhere to HIPAA guidelines:
- Do not include patients or visible patient information in your photos.
- Be cautious, especially when sharing on social media.
