FMH ED heads to NC to help clean up after flooding

Submitted by securtice on

Two ED nurses (Tracy Ginnings & Judy Sadowski), ED doctor (Dr Bookout)  and clinical administrator (Stef Braford) from FMH headed to NC to help clean up after the devastating flooding of hurricane Helene this week. And a big thank you to ED UD Stephanie Hodges for donating a box of toothbrushes and toothpaste to take with us. It was an amazing 2 days to help families in need after massive flooding washed away their homes. It was a humbling and grounding experience for all of us. All of us felt like we actually made a difference in people's lives over those 2 days. We plan on volunteering at least once a year to give back to communities in need.
