4 Reasons to Take the Employee Engagement and Culture of Safety Survey by Sept. 9

The Employee Engagement and Culture of Safety Survey closes Monday, Sept. 9. If you haven’t taken the survey yet, there’s still time to voice your views – and four reasons why you should.

1. Your voice matters.

Your feedback is important to us and helps us know what is working well and what could be better. Knowing how you feel about your job and Carilion helps us to provide even better patient care.

We use the survey data and comments you provide to make critical decisions our leaders can act on to improve our workplace.  

2. The survey is brief.

This year’s survey only takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. If you only have 5 minutes at a time to devote to the survey, you have the option to save the survey and return to it at a later time. You can take the survey in increments if that's easier. 

3. The survey is confidential.

The survey is voluntary and confidential. Your leader will never see your individual responses. They will only see the combined feedback of employees in their departments, as long as there are five or more responses. If you are on a small team and there are less than five responses, your leader will not receive the combined scores.  

4. You could win.

Take the survey and be entered to win gift cards from Amazon and Target. After the survey closes, we'll award 60 employees with gift cards! 

Winners will be notified through email and their names posted on Inside Carilion.
