Patient in need of laundry

Dustin Greer, our site lead for EVS at CFMH stepped up to the plate and washed a patients clothing so that the patient could have clean clothes to wear home. Thank you Dustin for being you and for doing such a kind act for this patient. 

Please see below the description of the kind act that Dustin performed from our ED staff. 

"Today we had a pt in the ED that arrived by EMS. I was told by EMS that the clothing she had on is the same clothing that she is always wearing.  The clothing was horribly soiled. EMS also advised that pt had no way of doing laundry at home and with pt permission, I called and spoke with Dustin and explained the situation to him and asked if anyway possible we could wash her clothing, as that she would most likely be discharged home.  I didn't want to send pt home in the same clothing as it was.  Dustin gladly washed the clothing and returned them to us in the ED.  The pt was able to be discharged home with clean clothes. " 

It's staff like this that makes me proud to be a part of this team.
