The Artists Behind Lights of Love

For several years, paper ornaments sprinkled with glitter hung on the lone Lights of Love tree at CRMH. That seems unimaginable when you see the wide-ranging creativity on the hand-painted wooden ornaments now adorning the beautiful trees at CRMH and, for the first time, CNRV and CFMH. This year, three Guest Services employees and a class of high school artists collaborated with Volunteer Services to paint the ornaments that pay tribute to Lights of Love honorees.

"My major in college was art," said Marilyn Holley, a Guest Services rep at Franklin Memorial Hospital. "I lost my father in 2020. People stop by the tree and see the ornaments. They remember their loved one, and it sorta brightens their day."
