Congratulations to the ED on the first team imPACT award!

Congratulations to the Emergency Department for not only winning the first team imPACT award but for also inspiring the development of the team award. The ED was nominated for demonstrating exceptional care and rapid treatment for a patient with a ruptured AAA. This care team showed fantastic communication and flawless movement and utilization of different hospital departments. The clinical care timeline, although incredibly impressive and life saving, doesn’t include the communication made among the different teams or the efforts made ensuring the patient’s family was notified and involved. Thank you to Dr. Damon Kuehl and Maura Mcnair, RN for their swift intervention and to the ED and vascular surgery teams for their support and imPACTful care.
