Fall Harvest Festival Celebrates Mental Well-Being
On Sept. 28, 2023, Carilion’s Community Health and Outreach (CHO) team hosted its 4th annual Fall Harvest Festival at Morningside Urban Farm. The event was a great success! More than 500 community members gathered in Southeast Roanoke on a beautiful evening to enjoy meaningful activities, moving performances, and delicious food from dozens of community organizations and artists. We were proud to provide a space where individuals could connect with organizations that support mental health and recovery.
This event was a true collaboration! A big shoutout to the CHO team for planning and organizing, all the volunteers for their support, Carilion Dining and Nutrition for providing a tasty meal, the amazing performers (including Carilion artist-in-residence Bryan Hancock), and our incredible group of vendors, which included Carilion departments of Home Health and Hospice, Center for Grief and Healing, and Southeast Family Medicine!
