ED Bridge to Caring

Submitted by ltsprinkel on

On Friday, September 14, 2023, some 125+ participants gathered at the Hotel Roanoke to learn more about ED Bridge to Caring initiatives here at Carilion Clinic and throughout the Commonwealth.  Planned and organized by Dr. Cheri Hartman and team, the day was filled with informative speakers, new concepts and ideas, and, most importantly, new and renewed energy and commitment to serve individuals suffering with substance use disorders.  Nancy Agee, CEO, recognized many individuals and teams throughout the Commonwealth who have been instrumental in incubating ED Bridge Programs.  Among those recognized (and pictured here) are Dr. Kimberly Simcox, Dr. Jeff Burton, Dr. Annie Ickes, Dr. David Hartman, Sara Boucher, Rick Whitt, Dr. Charlie Tarasidis, Dr. Michael Jeremiah, Kimberly Hunt, Robert Tuosto, and Mark Derbyshire.  Dr. Cheri Hartman was recognized for her efforts in collaborating with other health systems to launch Bridge programs across the state.  Also recognized but not pictured include Carl Cline, VP, CFMH. Thanks and gratitude are extended to all members of our team for your work and dedication in serving others!
