CFMH's Desheda Dobbins-Watkins Helps An ED Patient to His Car
from Cornerstone feedback
On Wednesday, August 16th, there was a man with a cane who entered into one of the hospital units and appeared lost. He was trying to find the exit that would get him out of the building and to his car. He had just been a patient in the ED. He was going to walk to the end of the big parking lot to retrieve his car which was a long way from the ED (he did not park in the ED parking lot). When asked if he needed help, he insisted he would be okay, but after discussing with him that it would be a very long walk to his vehicle from this location, he changed his mind and accepted help. Sheda placed him in a wheelchair and pushed him all the way to his vehicle. Thank you Sheda for taking time out of your busy assignment to care for other people. You're such a wonderful co-worker and I am lucky to be able to work alongside you. You certainly make me proud!
