Building Awareness of Cancer Prevention

Skin cancer prevention is so important when spending extended time outdoors. Wellness Services Director Whitney Long gave tips on sun safety awareness in English and Spanish to over 100 Robins & Morton construction workers on site at the Crystal Spring tower. Carilion Dermatology and Mohs Surgery provided handouts and access to daily sun protection for the duration of the build. The construction team was very welcoming and appreciative. Thanks to teams collaborating to make a difference in the health of our community.
