Ivan (RN) in the emergency department!

I meet an older couple in the lobby. Wife was sweet as could be, approached me about the shirt I was wearing. I instantly had to hug this lady. Her husband then turned around to explain that he had just been released roughly 2:30am. He explained they live at Richfield retirement center. All the man wanted to do was take his wife back to the place where they reside. Then he said well, there was this nice fella in the ED that said he will be getting off at 3am, he offered to give us a ride. He was very unsure if the guy was going to hold up to his word. A few mins after 3 I seen the 2 older couple climbing into a male RNs car. I wanted to share this because its not very often we get the chance to witness one another do something extra special.

I know that the goodness in your heart- will find an extra special way to repay you for your selfless acts. I'm 100% sure it will find its way back to you.

I bet he was just finishing a 12 hr shift, and probably went way out of his way to get that sweet couple back to their home. 

We need more folks like IVAN!
