ER staff - exceptional attention and compasion

Personal reasons elevated our family's appreciation for our Carilion ER - the compassion and attention showered on our family at a time of distress made ALL the difference.  Everyone on the team including the nurses who work so hard and yet maintain their kind demeanor, as well as the physician and the physician assistant - all helped us cope with a frightening situation.  They were reassuring and so thoughtfully attentive. Such care in a time of crisis is how they do their work on a daily basis - so grateful for professionals who can keep up their stamina to absorb the incomparable intensity that is constant in the ER.  GRATEFUL!
