Community Health and Outreach Rocks!

Shouting out the Community Health and Outreach (CHO) team for all they do to make our region a healthier and happier place to live, work and play! This team touches so many parts of our communities: offering health education, health screenings and vaccines, peer support and community health worker services, managing Morningside Urban Farm, and SO much more. They also embody many Carilion values: Collaboration with each other, other Carilion departments and community partners; Commitment and Compassion for serving vulnerable populations; and Curiosity for finding creative solutions to health challenges.

In the past year, CHO has implemented many new programs and services and have even more in the pipeline that will make a positive impact on our communities. I'm #CarilionProud to be a part of this amazing team!
