To the Rescue

I am a member of the truly amazing System Orientation Team with Education and Organizational Development!  This past Monday at new hire System Orientation, one of our participants spilled coffee all over her white blouse. She was mortified! It was her first day and she wanted to make a good impression. Facilitator, Misty Amos burst into action! Misty attempted to "save" the shirt with wet wipes but to no avail. Misty then offered to launder the participant's blouse for her. She then spoke with a representative from the hotel about a temporary replacement shirt while she waited. The participant was so grateful! She was able to enjoy her first day of employment with Carilion with a positive note.

After hearing this story, I was truly inspired by Misty's compassion for her fellow employee. Thank you again for your kind heart! <3
