The October Bee Award Winner is...

10S Palliative Nursing Assistant Ty'ieshia Fluellen!

The nomination Ty'ieshia received is below:

"Ty'ieshia is a real blessing to the patients and families and staff on the palliative care unit.  She is kind, attentive and ready to offer a gentle word of encouragement to those who ever may need a little TLC up here.  A couple examples of her caring heart includes the times she walked a distraught daughter to her car in the garage after her dad died on 10 south and again the time she just brought over to a newly widowed woman a cup of coffee as she was pacing outside her husbands room.  The coffee was just the way this woman liked it, evidence that Ty'ieshia had gotten to know her in the four days they were on the palliative care unit.  Ty'ieshia's patients are always treated well and compassionately and wonderfully.  She is planning on becoming a nurse and she will be a great one."
