The Gift of a Book on 7M PCU

Even though I'm always proud of her, I want to give an extra proud shout out to Hayley Assenat, Clinical Associate on 7M PCU for creating and implementing the idea of a library for patients and families on her unit. Hayley reached out to her co-workers and her own family to donate books for the unit library. She has accumulated about 40 books so far. Patients and families can review the book summaries that Hayley developed and choose a book they are interested in.  Based on our Infection Control policy, the books cannot be returned, so the books are the patients/families to keep. Thank you Hayley for thinking of our patient's and families!
