Teamwork at its Best!
Time is of the essence when CPR is needed. I want to recognize a group of people who truly exonerate Teamwork. Sunday, September 1, a patient was brought to the ED by private vehicle unresponsive with no vital signs. Courtney Graham in patient access immediately called a Rapid Response to the hospital entrance. Within seconds the team of Matthew Ratliff (CP), RN's Jenna Duty, Jenifer Duty, Robin Stanley, and Larry Rose, Clinical Assistant AJ, Radiologic Technologist, Terri Brewster, Cardiopulmonary RRT Tracy Hash, and ED physician Dr. Whitty began CPR in the parking lot. It was the quick thinking and response of this team that produced a successful outcome for this patient who gave us all the "thumbs up" as he was transported to Lifeguard 11. I am so proud to be a small-town community hospital worker who is part of such a great team of people.
