Taking extra time to listen

Amy Burks is the winner of the Daisy Award at Tazewell. Because of Amy's hard work and dedication, as well as her kindness and compassion, she was chosen as the recipient of this award. Amy was recognized by a family member of a patient, saying "Amy listened to the whole picture of what was happening to our daughter. She took time with her. She cared. We were so thankful for her." This is just one of the many times that Amy has displayed kindness and compassion to our patients. Amy puts her heart into her work, and it shows. Thank you, Amy, for the care you provide daily. It doesn't go unnoticed.
