Infection Prevention and Control Week 2026 is on the horizon! Our theme this year is "Generations of Infection Prevention"

This year, from October 19-25th, Carilion's Infection Prevention and Control Department will be celebrating all things infection control! 

This includes an in-person educational event on Monday of that week AND daily lunch and learn webinars Tuesday-Friday. Topics for these sessions include, emerging infectious disease threats, cleaning and disinfection, hand hygiene and isolation!

ALSO! Do not forget to check the infection control hub everyday that week to find daily bit sized education on infection control related topics with quizzes. Answer these quizzes to enter a raffle for a FREE gift!
