RT Gives Excellent Care to Blind Patient

Michelle McDaniel, RT(R)(CT) performed a CT study on a blind patient on July 12th.  The patient called me to express how impressed he was with Michelle's care.  He said she was amazing, nice, warm, friendly and all around wonderful.  This patient explained that it is easy for the blind to feel claustrophobic when on an unfamiliar surface that moves.  He further stated that not only did Michelle allay his fears entirely, he was so impressed that he would always come to Franklin Memorial for his CT studies.  Michelle is the perfect example of how we give compassionate care!
