Rescuing Kittens at Carilion Parkview

Monday morning 07/10/2023, Danielle was walking into the Parkview building when she heard a series of Meows coming from a nearby parked vehicle.  Danielle turned around and went to investigate and found that a kitten was hiding out under a parked car- at one time it was in the fender, and at another time it was under the hood of the vehicle.  This kitten was rescued by a group of concerned staff. They then discovered there was a second kitten.  The second kitten was a tad bit more feisty- running from car to car hiding from the staff attempting to rescue it, and eventually Animal Control joined, and the second kitten was caught.  It was quite the effort to rescue the little kittens, and furthermore, Danielle & Sydney each took a kitten home.  These kittens are so lucky as their new Moms are quite special! Thank you, Danielle & Sydney, for taking the rescued kitten's home and keeping them out of our local rescue shelters that are already overflowing.  Great work from these folks and I am so proud to have witnessed it!!
