Rapid Collaboration

I would like to recognize Kristi Raney on her prompt attention and collaboration with multiple team members in the operative and PACU settings to correct a potential medication dosing error that was identified in the critical care unit by the team. She immediately responded to the email, collaborated with anesthesia teams and PACU teams to remedy the practice and describe how the practice was a patient safety issue. Her diligence and tactful teamwork are what helps drive improved patient outcomes, and I am so lucky to have her to collaborate with as patients move from one care area to another.
