Porchae Jenkins, CMA helped a patient establish primary care!

A patient was being seen in our clinic today and Porchae Jenkins, CMA noted significantly elevated blood pressure when she was rooming him.  She asked the patient about medication and he answered none.  While he had health insurance and knew he had high blood pressure, he did not have a doctor and didn't know how to go about getting established with one.  She took extra time to explain how it works and, while he was here, got him a new patient appointment with a provider taking new patients then also gave him contact information about Community Care so he could be seen for this issue before his new patient appointment in June. 

So proud to have a colleague like her on our team!!
