Ortho Activities Committee: Missing Man Table for Memorial Day
The Ortho Activities Committee (OAC) strives to participate in one community service activity each month. Last week, they set up a Missing Man table in the lobby at The Institute for Orthopaedics and Neurosciences (ION) on Franklin Road in honor of Memorial Day. The Missing Man Table, also known as the “Fallen Comrade Table,” is meant to remind viewers of those fallen, missing, or imprisoned U.S. Military Service Members. Each element on the Missing Man Table embodies the deep emotions and sentiments held for those who never returned. It serves as a poignant reminder that their spirit remains with us. It is a solemn tribute to ensure that all Americans remember the courageous men and women who responded to our nation's call, defending our freedom with valor and honor.
