On patient's level

Big shout out to Brian RN on 10 South Oncology unit. Had the pleasure to sit with a patient two nights in a row and work with Brian as our nurse both nights.  His interactions with our patient, making time to connect with him through light banter even though he was extremely busy was a delight to see. Our patient also took notice of his special care, mentioning on several occasions how 'on point' he was, and stated that he was the best nurse he's had on this floor.  Brian showed compassion and genuine interest in our patient's well being all while still being able to get on the patient's level and making him feel like a priority.
