Nursing Research Fellows' Work Accepted for AACN National Teaching Institute!

I am beyond proud that my 2017 Nursing Research Fellowship Team of Kim Bolling (CSICU) and Takako Long (CSPCU) will be representing Carilion at the 2018 AACN National Teaching Institute in May in Boston, MA! Their research study, entitled "Say Yes to the Breasts: Comparing Post-Sternotomy Breast Support Satisfaction and Wear Compliance" resulted in a practice AND product change: they are truly implementing evidence-based practice for this patient population. Special thanks to the amazing nurses in CSOR, CSICU, and CSPCU, Dr. Kim Carter, Dr. Francis Dane, Sandy Wilson, Maria Christofis, Debra Pullen, and Sara Gill for their help with this research study.
